What comes to mind when we talk about the famous, the pride of India, the everlasting beauty-Taj Mahal? Obviously, our mind gets surrounded by the images of its serene beauty, its well-crafted work, the amount of recognition and pride that it has brought to our country. From the time when it was built in the 17th century, it has consistently been the center of attraction and people all over the world has admired it for its amazing design and features.

You all must remember the day when Taj Mahal was announced as one of the seven wonders of the world. How can we forget the day our hearts filled with pride for what recognition has this beautiful monument had brought to our nation. And not to forget to count the figures in tourism that went up due to the fame and recognition it brought to India across the world.

But yet again, where India advances with each day ahead, it lies in the storm of political views. Yet again, it has been smeared with discrete comments and discrete words. Just a few days ago, Mr. Sangeet Som, a well-known leader of the BJP party, he himself who as a leader should try to make all the differences in our nation vanish, he himself stated that the Taj Mahal is not any special property rather is just a tombstone and too an unlucky one. Also that no type of its miniatures should ever be kept at home.

Why is it that political views, cultural differences always rise above the simple concept of hate? Why is it that our hatred does not seem to cease even when we claim to live in a developing country. Well, most people shall know the history of this monument. The monument was built by the emperor Shahjahan for his wife Mumtaz who was dying and so as to honour their love, he made this beautiful gigantic Mahal. Built for love and signifying the importance of love now for four decades, our beloved monster chose to call it just as a mere tombstone and that too an unlucky one.
